Who I am
This is Sarah (Vrah) and Adventures With Vrah is my comic. This is how I use the data from adventureswithvrah.com.
What personal data I collect and why I collect it
Personal data is information that can be used to identify you such as your name, IP address, and email address. I collect personal data from you in a few ways:
1. Opt-in to email updates: Your name and email address.
2. Email questions: Your name, email address, and question.
3. Website comments: Your name, email address, personal website, and comment.
What Legal Basis Do I Have For Collecting and Processing Your Information?
Websites must have a legal basis for collecting information from individuals located in the European Union. The legal basis for each of the ways I collect information from you is as follows.
1. Opt-In To Email Newsletters: I will ask for your consent first.
“Legitimate interests” for processing your personal information exist where you submit the information with an expectation that it will be processed and there is no undue impact on you. If you disagree or have questions, please contact me and I will cease the processing of your data under this legal basis.
I will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. I do not automatically log personal data nor do I link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals. I may use IP addresses to compile and provide aggregate statistics about our visitors, traffic patterns, and administer the site. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. I collect only the personal data that you may volunteer while using our services. I do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This information is not displayed publicly and I do not share it with any third parties.

Similar to other commercial websites, this website utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” and server logs to collect information about how our site is used. Information gathered through cookies and server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our site, and the websites visited just before and just after our own, as well as your IP address.

This site uses Google Analytics and Monster Insights, two of the most widespread and trusted analytics programs on the web for helping me to understand how you use the site and ways that I can improve your experience. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages that you visit so I can continue to produce engaging content.
Opting out of Cookies
You can prevent the setting of cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser (see your browser Help for how to do this). You can also opt out of tracking by many companies using cookies via the Network Advertising Initiative Consumer Opt-Out.
Ads
From time to time, I may engage in remarketing efforts with third-party companies, such as Google, Facebook, or Instagram, in order to market the website. These companies use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the website.

- You may request that I erase or forget your personal data. To do so, please submit a request to sarah@adventureswithvrah.com.
I will retain the any information you choose to provide to me until the earlier of: (a) you asking me to delete the information, (b) my decision to cease using our existing data providers, or (c) I decide that the value in retaining the data is outweighed by the costs of retaining it.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority that has jurisdiction over issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation.
Changes
I may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If I do, I will let you know by revising the date at the top of the policy. If I make a change to this policy that, in my sole discretion, is material, I will provide you with additional notice.
